In order to work in proportion with the M’s of our project we have taken steps to ensure our success as follows:
MONEY
Financial Structure & Planning:
AAGPL being a subsidiary of Al – Abbas Fabrics (Pvt.) Ltd. has a sound financial backing and credibility right from the day it started. We have carefully allocated our funds for: branded machinery that is fully automated, factory set up and facilities for our workers and management, top quality raw material and process involved in production of same, production flow and expertise/professional management skilled to handle top levels of quality and efficiency.
MACHINERY
For the present times we have invested into Juki, Pegasus Machines and Specialized machinery by Kansai efficiently lined on production floor of about 20000 sq feet.
All machines are mobile, able to be lined up for all different types of styles. These machines are equipped with automatic trimmers and high-speed servomotors to enable a constant and good stitch quality.
At the moment we are equipped with sewing machines to handle a capacity of 4000 pieces/day of Polo shirts, 6000 pcs/day of ladies tops, 4000 pieces of hooded sweat shirts in Fleece or Terry Fabric and accordingly other standard and value added items.
MATERIAL
With regard to fabric related raw material sourcing, we make full use of the quality and Fabrication Managers at our parent company to assist our team in enabling on time quality fabric sourcing. We are in constant touch with the R&D Dept of our parent company, which updates us on new fabric types. The in house lab facility enable us a tight quality standard in conciliation with European and US standards. With regard to trims etc. we have established close professional business contacts with specialized entities catering to this market.
MECHANISM
We have ensured and designed an error/bottleneck free production flow layout. It is in a tidy manner, raw, semi finished and finished products are identified clearly. Similarly, the finishing department clearly identifies the good and bad quality products. The packing department has a clear packing guide and we have taken special care to maintain the placement of goods at all stages of production, finishing, and packing.
We have implemented a strict quality assurance system covering the entire scope of jobs carried out in the process of making a garment. An independent Quality department ensures the desired quality at all stages from incoming fabric to the completion of packing. An in-house quality assurance manual and inspection plan booklet has been compiled and is towards completion. The standards marked in the above are detailed with stricter requirement than that of most buyers.
Our independent QA department is responsible to carry out in-process audits based on sampling plans. These audits are then analyzed and necessary statistical findings are organized and worked upon.
We have systemized our facility and product line on a straight cut to pack color code system, which will enable us to detect, and trouble shoot a particular flaw related to a particular product line.
